the singing mime (installation & shows)

installation & performance art shows: april 5th & 12, 2018

jess joy emotionally processed developmental years through writing & performance. she chose to physically "process" her experiences through the visual installation. joy’s original teenage journals, & letters were used as papier-maché material in the installation’s sculptural tree. installation built using flour & water as glue, & 100% upcycled papers & cardboard.

two performances occurred in the space: a combination of jess joy’s original music, mime, & spoken word.
